#PerencoSystem is a 3 part investigation published in partnership with Mediapart (France), Times of Cameroon, InfoCongo (Congo Basin), InfoAmazonia (Panamazon), Convoca (Peru), La Republica (Peru), expands on EIF’s prior revelations about Perenco since 2020.
This serie uncovered over 400 cases of pollution worldwdide by Perenco from 2012 to 2022.
This first chapter focuses on reviewing the group’s operations within 70 declared and proposed protected areas across Africa, Latin America and Western Europe. This project was supported by the Journalismfund Europe.
