Luiz Fernando Toledo

Investigative reporter specialized in data and public records. I was awarded a 1 year grant by Columbia University (Brown Institute) in 2022 to create a data-driven project to investigate envionmental crimes: datafixers.org.

Fiona Macleod

Fiona Macleod is an experienced investigative environmental journalist who currently heads up Oxpeckers Investigative Environmental Journalism, a unit that is pioneering the use of new media tools to expose eco-offences and to track offenders around the world. Prior to founding Oxpeckers, Macleod worked as an award-winning journalist and editor at a range of the region’s top medias. She served as environment editor at the Mail & Guardian newspaper for 10 years, and was awarded the coveted Nick Steele Award recognizing her contributions to environmental conservation through her pioneering reportage.

Rouguyata Sall

Journalist et data-journalist, her field trips most often take place on her laptop, where she plays around with data and read scientific papers. Rouguyata focuses on science, research, labor and inequalities. Before that, she worked four years as a food quality and security officer for the agri-food industry. She was trained in cross-format journalism at the EMI-CFD), Paris and is a biology M.Sc. graduate. She has worked with Mediapart, Le Monde, AEF info, Liaisons sociales, Libération, Bondy Blog and Politics Watch.

Muhammad Daud Khan

Muhammad Daud Khan is an award-winning environmental multimedia journalist currently based in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North-West Pakistan.

Charles Barailles

Charles is a former security and defense expert having worked for various public administrations.

Hanene Zbiss

Hanene won several Arab and international awards such as the Samir Kassir Award for Freedom of press (2014) and the Raef Badawi Award for Courageous Journalists (2019) done by Friedrich Naumann Foundation. She was nominated for the Global Shining Light Award, done by the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) in October 2015. She produced several investigations on subjects such as corruption, terrorism, health, environment and education, in Tunisia and in Iraq. She participated to the “Implant Files” project with the ICIJ and is the President of the Francophone Press Union’s Tunisian Section (UPF).

Leonore Schick

Leonore has worked as a freelance journalist from 2017 to 2019 after an internship as a cross-format journalist for the Associated Press (AP). She is currently working as a legal reporter at Property Week. Her work has been in various medias including AP, ABC News, Vice US, 7 Digital, the Washington Post and Deutsche Welle. Leonore participated in a data-journalism reporting project on gas flaring in Nigeria, for DW & Premium Times and has been an investigative trainee for CiFAR program “Investigate the Mediterranean“.
