#PerencoSystem is a 3 part investigation published in partnership with Mediapart (France), Times of Cameroon, InfoCongo (Congo Basin), InfoAmazonia (Panamazon), Convoca (Peru), La Republica (Peru), expands on EIF’s prior revelations about Perenco since 2020.
This serie uncovered over 400 cases of pollution worldwdide by Perenco from 2012 to 2022. This third chapter revealed 58 cases of environmental violations by the company in the Peruvian Amazon and without proper knowledge of local indeginous communities about these cases.
