Zuza Nazaruk is a freelance journalist from Poland, based in the Netherlands. She is passionate about the intersection between environmental issues and labour, as well as corporate misinformation. Zuza’s past investigations include rising energy poverty rates among low-income households in the Netherlands and Denmark and the inadequacy of existing EU recycling strategies. She is currently looking at Rotterdam’s preparedness to rising sea levels as part of a grant with Unbias the News. She has published with outlets such as Euronews Green, DutchNews, Morocco World News; and (para-)academic publications such as JASON Institute and E-International Relations. Zuza considers herself a lifelong learner and is looking to expand her skills in OSINT, geolocation, and geographical analysis (e.g. GIS) while growing her investigative portfolio. Alongside journalism, Zuza engages in academic activities, such as teaching a course on systems thinking in sustainability to Architecture & Urbanism MA students.
