Journalist Myrto Boutsi is a reporter based in Athens. Member of Reporters United since 2020, she has written investigative stories on sea pollution, corruption in the health sector, unlawfulness of big business and over-exploitation of water. She has participated in the production of documentary Black Trail by European Investigative Collaborations (EIC) about the impact of the shipping industry’s emissions on climate change. She has also worked for many years as international news editor and head of international desk in several Greek media, collaborated with German ARD, Greek documentary series Exandas, aired by Greek Public Television NET, Metro Magazine, online media Inside Story and Solomon and has co-founded Non Stop Media Production Company. She was trained in Newsroom Essentials Program by Columbia University and iMEdD – Incubator for Media Education and Development.
