I am one of the founders of the digital research medium Epicentro.TV and a university professor, where I specialize in covering environmental issues. I graduated from the master’s degree in Journalism and Multimedia Communication at the San Martín de Porres University and has been a television reporter for the programs Cuarto Poder (América Televisión), Es Noticia and Tribuna Abierta (ATV and Global TV). He has been head of the Research Unit of the newspapers El Comercio and Diario 16, reporter of the Research Units of the newspapers Perú 21 and La Primera, reporter for Poder magazine and Politics editor of the newspaper La Primera. He received the 2016 National Journalism Award, for the best “election coverage,” and the Padre Urías Award, from El Comercio, in 2016, for the best journalistic investigation. Epicentro.Tv was founded in July 2021 with the mission of independently practicing investigative journalism, developing analysis, context, current events and opinion, with a focus on the fight against corruption, defense of democracy, human and civil rights, and the environment.
